Life in the "Isaksoon" home...

is a non-stop party. It's a lot like that movie 24 Hour Party People, if the members of Joy Division were girls. And into balloons and streamers instead of cocaine and suicide.

June's been my month to get out of town, and after having avoided my own bed for almost 18 days I came home last night to find it COVERED in the big yellow balloons Danny had left for Elin upon her return from Nauvoo over the weekend. I loved them so much I slept with them all piled on top of me. It's good to be home for a while and we hope you guys haven't forgotten all about us.

WAIT WAIT... DON'T TELL ME!

So Steven Stacy and I went to a live taping of Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! at Kingsbury Hall. We were in stitches the entire time.






















i always thought this was a really strange mural on the wall at kingsbury. i also always kind of liked it!










the live show was a little over 2 hours and was so good the whole time. it's amazing how they can cut it down to 47 minutes and still keep it as funny

this is boy news on the girls' blog, but i wanted to tell you gals that danny's bike was stolen from in front of my house! so so sad. we had matching old raleigh road bikes. mine is a red girl bike and his was a big black man bike. someone cut both of our locks in front of my house and left my bike sitting on my porch, but they took his. if you see his bike anywhere, stop that person and kick his teeth in. thanks!

the first picture is from girl's camp. notice the flannel shirt, cutoff shorts, and hiking boots. standard girl's camp attire for a grungy girl. and that is the only other time i've had long hair.



this second picture is me being a "sporty grunge girl"... still loving STP while wearing nike deschutz and wishing i was at basketball camp instead of "the happiest place on earth"


next picture is more flannel and more smiles. (we were kidnapping our friend for her birthday, hence the blindfolding)


this last one is to show my preppy (yet still rocking baggy 'man' clothes) side coming out, and my friend diversity. from left to right the drama geek, the pregnant girl, me, and the smart jock chick chillin at the senior benches.

Memorial Day Weekend- Bell Canyon

this is bell canyon reservoir hidden at the top of all these ridiculous houses. it's very beautiful and the water was extremely cold. we took a nice little hike up to it and then only the brave went into the water.
